CEKİRGE SULTANS THERMAL BATH

ÇEKİRGE SULTAN KAPLICASI Sultan I. Murat döneminde 1365 1370 yılları arasında Hayrat olarak yaptırılmış ve Vakf edilmiştir Çekirge kaplıcasının isminin bulunduğu semtte Adını da veren I.Murat'ın baş müneccimi Çekirge Sultan'dan geldiği bilinmektedir kaplıca aynı zamanda Adak hamamı ve gelin Hamamı olarak meşhurdur kaplıca soğukluk ılıklık ve sıcaklık bölümlerinden oluşmaktadır 1958 yılında bursa eski eserleri sevenler Kurumu tarafından kapsamlı bir onarım geçirmiş olan yapı 1971'de sahipleri tarafından onarılmıştır günümüzde kaplıca kadınlar kaplıcası olarak kullanılmaktadır pek çok hastalığa şifa olduğu bilinen kaplıcanın suyu vakıf bahçe kaynağından gelmekte olup Çelikli sular grubundandır suyun sıcaklığı kaynaktan çıktığı noktada 49.5.C derecedir



CEKİRGE SULTANS THERMAL BATH

This structure was built as a piaus work betwen 1365 and 1370 during the reign of Sultan Murad I.and then donated to a waqf ıt is known that the name of "Çekirge" Thermal Bath also given to its neighbouring quarter goes back to Çekirge Sultan chief astrologer of Murad I.this Thermal Bath is also famous as "Adak" or the vows hamam and gelin or the brides hamam this thermal bath consists of cool room (frigidarium) room (tepidarium) and a hot room (caldarium) section in 1958 this structure was comprehensively renovated by the Bursa Ancient Artwork Lovers society and renovated in 1971 by its then owners today this thermal bath is used as a thermal bath for women the water of this thermal bath is known to be curative for various diseases ıt comes from "vakıf garden" spring and falls in the category or waters with steel content the water tempature at its emersion point is 49,5 c.
